INTRODUCTION
Light as a feather, free like a bird, this loosely knit shawl is perfect for those spring days and summer nights. It’s completely adaptable in size, just knit to less stitches at the width. You can also play with different stripe layouts!
DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Advanced Beginner
YARN: Fingering weight
Yarn A: approx. 480 yds/ 420 m
Yarn B: approx. 350 yds/ 292 m
Total Yardage: 830 yds / 759 m
Sample knit in: Hedgehog Fibres “Skinny Singles” 100% Merino Wool
Yarn A: “Potluck”
Color B: “Typewriter”
NEEDLE: US 6 / 4 MM or size needed to obtain gauge
NOTIONS: gauge ruler
GAUGE: 22 sts by 32 rows = 4”/ 10 cm (in garter stitch after blocking)
SIZE: one size
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 13”/33 cm wide by 62”/158 cm long from tip to short row corner (full length=double)
