INTRODUCTION
Breathe It In is an easy shawl for mindless knitting. It’s for those lazy Sundays, those knitflix nights, for anytime you need your hands to knit but your mind to rest. This pattern has easy to remember repeats that still create intricate texture and details. I created this shawl because I wanted to knit something that was a palette cleanser almost, something that I would enjoy knitting without thinking too much about it in between or after more difficult knits. I hope you enjoy this simple knit as much as I did. May it bring you peace and serenity!

DESCRIPTION: crescent shawl with stripes of garter stitch, seed stitch, and lace

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Advanced Beginner

YARN: Fingering weight

Sample knit in: Autumn and Indigo “Classic Sock”, 75% SW Merino Wool, 25% Nylon
Yarn A- “Girl Next Door”- 400 yds/ 366 m
Yarn B- “Veiled Spruce”- 300 yds/ 275 m

NEEDLE: US 4 / 3.5 MM or size needed to obtain gauge

NOTIONS: gauge ruler if needed

GAUGE: 18 sts by 54 rows in 4”/10cm (in garter stitch after blocking)

SIZE: one size

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 82” long by 16” wide / 208 cm long by 40 cm wide
