INTRODUCTION
This design was originally published in LITLG magazine, issue 2: Summer Mist, River Swim.
DESCRIPTION: a unique polygon shape shawl knit on the bias with lace, short rows, and striping.
YARN:
Fingering weight- single ply, 3 colors, 400 yds each color, Total Yardage: 1200 yds
Sample in: Life in the Long Grass- Singles, 100% Superwash Merino, 438 yds/400 m per 100g each skein
Color A: “Atlantic”, Color B: “Uisce”, Color C: “Shield”
NEEDLE: US 6 / 4.0 MM or size needed to obtain gauge
GAUGE: 23 sts by 34 rows in 4”/10cm (in garter stitch after blocking)
NOTIONS: gauge ruler if needed
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 70” long by 17” at widest, 178 cm long by 43 cm wide
